About NannyNick
Nanny Nick... you remain to this day the hero who got our twins to sleep through for the first time ever when you night nannied for us.Mrs Middleton
My name is Nick Mitchell and I am 32 years old. I started babysitting as a teenager and over the years I have worked in Pre-School Playgroups, Day Nurseries plus I have helped with Beavers, Cubs and on Play Schemes.
I currently work as a nanny during school term time, caring for four young children, as both their parents are teachers. I babysit for a number of families, whose children range in age from babies to school age.
I am a qualified Nursery Nurse and Maternity Practitioner. My childcare training makes me suitable for working in or managing a children's day nursery, working with parents of newborn babies as a maternity nurse, or working as a nanny. I am therefore highly qualified as a babysitter, thus you can be confident that I have the necessary childcare skills to care for your children.
As I am in regular contact with young children, I have an Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau (this is sometimes referred to as a Police Check). This means that you can be assured that I have no criminal history that prevents me from working with children.
I am trained in Early Years First Aid, which specifically covers First Aid and resuscitation of babies and toddlers. My latest First Aid course was though St. John Ambulance and is approved by the Pre School Learning Alliance and the National Child Minders Association. This means that you can be confident that should a medical emergency arise, I am trained to respond to incidents.
As a nanny, I am approved by the SureStart Childcare Approval Scheme. This is a scheme which helps employers of nannies by allowing them to use Childcare Vouchers. The benefit this has to you using me as your babysitter is that you can be reassured that I have an Enhanced CRB check and that I have suitable childcare training and First Aid training to care for young children.
Please Email or Text/Call to book me to babysit, or to discuss your childcare requirements.
