Depending on how often you need an evening babysitter, my fee can often be CHEAPER than using a babysitting agency, as I do not charge a Membership Fee or a Booking Fee.

Parents often ask me how much my babysitting fee is. Babysitting fees vary around the country so parents moving to Surrey / Berkshire can be shocked by the high babysitting fees charged in this area. My babysitting fee is £8 per hour and I have a three hour minimum. This is a per-family babysitting fee, not per child.

How does my Babysitting Fee compare with other babysitters?

Compared with a teenage babysitter, my babysitting fee will be high. That is due to quality of the service that I provide. My many years of extensive experience, combined with my childcare training, plus extensive general knowledge about childcare, means that I am able to command a higher salary than a teenage babysitter. It also means that parents with babies and toddlers can be confident in leaving their children in my care.

Making comparisons between babysitting services is very hard, as although at first the service offered may appear to be the same, there are often many differences. For example, as I am not a babysitting agency, I provide all the childcare myself. This means that you are guarenteed the same childcarer every time you sucessfully make a booking. Babysitting agencies will try to offer you the same childcarer, but they cannot guarentee that the same person will be available, so your baby or toddler may be cared for by someone unknown to them, and also to you.
